About This Project

Successfully led a regional public, private and voluntary sector partnership on the drafting the England Rural Development Programme for the East of England. On its approval led on the successful delivery of the programme’s Project Based Schemes between 2001 and 2006. This amounted to managing and allocating £24 million to the East of England rural economy that generated £70 million of economic activity including the creation of new jobs and businesses through: farm diversification, adding value to primary products, rural tourism and marketing activities. Further, vocational training opportunities were created for farmers and foresters.
